Meet Kim

All my life I have been drawn to plants and design. Although my professional career has always been rooted in agriculture, I have always been passionate about creating beautiful outdoor spaces. Every opportunity I had, I was designing containers, styling entrances, and making homes feel more welcoming. Over the years, I have discovered that my favorite projects were always the ones that blended horticulture, design, and hospitality. The last several years I have had the opportunity to practice more designing and gain more knowledge of all plants through my work as manager of a garden center as well as my own cut flower farm of 4 years, growing plants and flowers I can use in my own designs.

As the owner and designer, I personally oversee every project from the initial consultation through installation.

Porch Styling Co. was created to bring thoughtful, seasonal beauty to homes through natural materials, quality plants, and timeless design. My goal is for every client to feel proud every time they arrive home or welcoming guests.

When I’m not designing seasonal entrances, you’ll usually find me growing flowers, foraging natural materials, exploring beautiful gardens for inspiration, or enjoying the natural beauty of lakes and rivers, mountains, and architecture.
